Dear Support,
I am using f-in-box for MFC based application. It plays an local swf file. The same swf is also played in a web browser (hosted on a web-server). When both the browser base swf and local swf hosted on f-in-box try to use the usb web camera. The mfc application crashes.

What could be the reason? Please guide.

Thanks and Regards

Thank you for your question.

What if to launch the same SWF using two instances of Internet Explorer?

Thank you.

Dear Support,

I tested it using firefox and IE for two different users, yes it did crash. I think, I need to discuss the issue with flex team. I will post back what ever comes up after the discussion.
I know this is not a flex forum, but can you please suggest something, or throw some light on what could be the reason, because, we did not even called the getcamera.
One user publishes the camera for live broadcast say in firefox, the other user in IE then searches the user who has published his camera. As soon as the IE user views publisher's profile page, which has the live camera stream, the browser crashed.

Thanks a lot.

Dear Support,
We tested a new scenario, where two users sitting on different machines use web browser to host the swf file. When they chat and share camera, no crashes occur. But whenever our mfc based desktop application hosting the same swf tries to join the chat room, and access any chat room user's camera, app crashes.

Previously the tester had run the two instances of web browsers based app on same machine, one in FF and other in IE, so the browser crashed.

Thanks
Bikram...

Dear Support,

I wanted to know if you were able to reproduce the crash at your end and if any solution is available for the reported bug. We are really concerned about the crashing because using the camera happens to be the main feature of our application.

Please rectify the issues as early as possible.

Thanks and Regards
